Align Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALGN) today announced that it has hired Jennifer M. Erfurth as vice president of global human resources. Ms. Erfurth will report directly to Thomas M. Prescott, Align president and CEO, and will assume immediate responsibility for the Company's global human resources organization and initiatives from Len Hedge, senior vice president of business operations. As previously announced, Mr. Hedge will retire in early 2013.

Ms. Erfurth has more than fifteen years of human resources experience spanning several verticals and industries. Prior to joining Align, Ms. Erfurth was senior vice president of shared services at Dyno Nobel where she implemented a global shared services HR delivery model. Prior to Dyno Nobel, she was vice president, human resources for Federal Signal Corporation and global senior vice president, human resources for Schawk, Inc.
