Biography

Tim Mack was appointed Senior Vice President Business Development in April 2011 through the acquisition of Cadent Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries, a privately held manufacturer of 3D digital scanning solutions for orthodontics and dentistry. He is responsible for creating and developing business partnerships in dentistry and extending our technology with distributors and lab partners. He brings to Align Technology a great amount of information and experience in go-to-market strategies for the 3D digital scanning industry and deep knowledge of restorative dentistry.

At Cadent, he was President and Chief Executive Officer since 2009. He joined Cadent in 2005, as Executive Vice President & General Manager where he led the introduction and adoption of Cadent's new 3D digital imaging technology into the market. Prior to Cadent, Mr. Mack was Vice President and General Manager of DENTSPLY Ceramco, a wholly-owned subsidiary of DENTSPLY International. Prior to DENTSPLY, Mr. Mack held a series of management positions in the U.S. and Europe within Consumer Electronics and Medical Imaging Divisions at Eastman Kodak Company. Mr. Mack received an MBA degree from Simon School, University of Rochester, New York and graduated from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York with a BS degree.
