(NASDAQ: ALGN) today announced the upcoming release of ClinCheck Pro, the next generation Invisalign treatment software tool, designed to provide more precise control over final tooth position and to help Invisalign providers achieve their treatment goals.

The latest software innovation features interactive 3D Controls that -- for the first time -- allow Invisalign providers to make adjustments to the position of individual teeth directly on the 3D model, and to visualize the effects on the whole dentition in real time. The 3D Controls toolbar brings an exciting evolution to the familiar ClinCheck interface and includes four tools that allow changes to the final tooth position on the 3D model:

• Tooth Position Modifications: extrusion and rotation for leveling and alignment
• Attachments and Precision Cuts: drag and drop conventional attachments and Precision Cuts on the 3D model
• Arch Form: posterior arch expansion or contraction for upper and/or lower arches
• IPR and Space Management: management of interproximal reduction (IPR) and spacing for specific contacts.
