Joseph M. Hogan
Director, President and Chief Executive Officer
Joseph M. Hogan joined Align in June 2015 as President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and a Director of Align Technology. Mr. Hogan is an accomplished chief executive with extensive experience across multiple industries including healthcare, technology and industrial automation. Before joining Align, Mr. Hogan served as CEO of ABB, a $40 billion global power and automation technologies company based in Zurich, Switzerland. During his five years at ABB, Mr. Hogan oversaw a 25% increase in revenues. Prior to ABB, Mr. Hogan spent 25 years at General Electric (GE) in a variety of executive and management roles, including eight years as CEO of GE Healthcare, where he drove significant geographic and market portfolio expansion and more than doubled revenues from $7 billion to $16 billion. Mr. Hogan earned an M.B.A. from Robert Morris University and a B.S. degree in Business and Economics from Geneva College, both in Pennsylvania.
Vice President and Managing Director, iTero
Yuval Shaked is Vice President and Managing Director, iTero. Mr. Shaked is responsible for overseeing the global iTero scanner and services business line at Align Technology. He joined the company in June 2017, based in Israel. Prior to joining Align Technology, Mr. Shaked spent more than 15 years at GE Healthcare in the U.S. and Israel in a variety of roles at multiple business units. Most recently, he served as General Manager, Diagnostic Cardiology, overseeing the P&L and leading on- and off-shore R&D and marketing teams in the U.S., Germany, India and China. Prior to that, he was General Manager for GE’s VersaMed business unit, with responsibility for R&D, innovation, manufacturing, quality and commercial activity. Mr. Shaked was the former CEO of SHL Telemedicine Ltd., an Israel-based advanced personal telemedicine company. Mr. Shaked holds an M.B.A. from Tel Aviv University and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Haifa University with a B.A. degree in Economics.
John F. Morici
Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President, Global Finance
John Morici joined Align Technology as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in November 2016 and is responsible for managing the company’s global finance and financial strategy. Over his more than 20-year career, Mr. Morici has held senior leadership positions in finance, operations and strategic planning in healthcare, medical technology and consumer/entertainment. Prior to joining Align, Mr. Morici spent nine years at NBC Universal where he held several senior management positions in the company’s Universal Pictures Home Entertainment U.S. and Canadian business, including chief financial officer, chief operating officer, and most recently, executive vice president and managing director. In his role as Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Mr. Morici led all finance, sales, marketing, operations and customer service organizations and was responsible for overall strategy and planning. Prior to NBC Universal, Mr. Morici spent eight years in senior financial management positions at GE Healthcare, including as CFO for its Diagnostic Imaging and Global Products units. He also held a number of financial management roles during his tenure at Case New Holland and Abbott Laboratories. Mr. Morici earned an M.B.A. degree in Finance and a B.S. degree with Honors in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin.
Senior Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA
Simon Beard is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, EMEA responsible for Align Technology’s market development and operational execution of all Align Technology products and services in the EMEA region. He joined the company in November 2014 originally as Vice President and Managing Director for EMEA, (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Mr. Beard has had a progressive career over 25 years in the pharmaceuticals and medical device industry. Prior to Align Technology, Mr. Beard was Regional Director for Smith & Nephew’s South East Asia business. Prior to Smith & Nephew, Mr. Beard held multiple commercial, strategic and general management positions in companies such as DePuy International (Johnson & Johnson), Sankyo Pharmaceutical and Sanofi Aventis. Mr. Beard holds a B.S. degree from Wake Forest University, North Carolina, USA.
Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources
Stuart Hockridge is Senior Vice President, Global Human Resources responsible for leading the global human resources team including talent management, recruitment, total rewards and HR services for Align Technology's operations and facilities around the world. He joined the company in May 2016 as Vice President, Global Human Resources. Mr. Hockridge has more than 20 years of broad human resource experience across a number of international Fortune 500 companies, from defense, finance, technology and healthcare. Prior to joining Align Technology, Mr. Hockridge was Senior Vice President of Talent at Visa Inc., where he led all aspects of talent delivery for the company including executive development, succession planning, employee engagement, learning and development and talent acquisition. Prior to Visa, Mr. Hockridge held a number of human resource management positions at GE Healthcare leading HR processes both globally and for various divisions of the company.
Roger E. George
Senior Vice President, Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer
Roger E. George is Senior Vice President, Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer responsible for all aspects of Align Technology's legal affairs including transactional, securities, governance, intellectual property, real estate and employment matters. He joined the company in July 2002 as Vice President, Legal Affairs and General Counsel. Prior to joining Align Technology, Mr. George was the Chief Financial Officer, Vice President, Finance and Legal Affairs and General Counsel of SkyStream Networks, a worldwide network infrastructure company whose products enable service providers to create and deliver digital medical services across converged broadband and broadcast networks. Prior to SkyStream, Mr. George was a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto, CA, the leading law firm representing technology companies at all stages of their growth, and the investment banks and venture capital firms that finance them. Prior to joining WSGR, Mr. George was an associate attorney with Buist Moore Smythe & McGee in Charleston, SC. Mr. George worked at KPMG Peat Marwick in Washington, DC, before attending law school. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. George attended the University of Virginia where he earned a B.S. degree in Commerce (1988) and Juris Doctor (1992).
Senior Vice President, Global Information Technology
Sreelakshmi Kolli is Senior Vice President, Global Information Technology responsible for defining the technology strategy and development of global consumer, customer and enterprise applications and infrastructure including end user and cloud computing, voice and data networks and storage. Ms. Kolli also leads the global program management office that manages and executes the company’s commercial and enterprise roadmap that includes product portfolio and cross-functional business programs. In addition, she led the company’s global business transformation initiative aimed at delivering platforms and technology to support customer experience and simplified business processes across the company. She joined the company in June 2003 and held positions of increasing responsibility leading business operations and engineering for customer-facing applications during her tenure and was promoted to Vice President, Information Technology (IT) in December 2012. Prior to joining Align Technology, Ms. Kolli held technical lead positions with Sword CT Space and Accenture. She is a member of the Executive Advisory Board at Salesforce.com. Ms. Kolli earned an M.S. degree in Computer Applications at the National Institute of Technology in Trichy, India and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program offered by the Stanford Graduate School of Business in California.
Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Doctor-Directed Consumer Channel
Jennifer Olson is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Doctor-Directed Consumer Channel responsible for doctor-directed, consumer channel programs aimed at connecting interested consumers with Invisalign providers for treatment through a convenient retail environment, such as the Invisalign Store retail program. In addition, Ms. Olson-Wilk is also responsible for supporting and managing the relationship with SmileDirectClub, of which Align Technology is a third-party non-Invisalign aligner supplier. She joined the company in 2002 and held multiple roles in sales, marketing and business development until her appointment to Vice President and Managing Director, Doctor-Directed Consumer Channel in August 2016. Prior to joining Align Technology, Ms. Olson-Wilk was with technology companies such as Extreme Networks and PWI Technologies. She received a B.A. degree in Business Administration from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington.
Raphael S. Pascaud
Chief Marketing, Portfolio and Business Development Officer, and Senior Vice President iTero Scanner and Services
Raphael Pascaud is Chief Marketing, Portfolio and Business Development Officer and Senior Vice President, iTero Scanner and Services with global marketing responsibility of Align’s product portfolio including the Invisalign and iTero product brands as well as overseeing the business development function. Mr. Pascaud also has global responsibility for Align Technology’s market development and operational execution of the iTero Scanner and Services business. He joined the company in 2010 originally as Vice President and Managing Director for the EMEA region. Over his tenure, Mr. Pascaud increased his regional responsibilities and was promoted to Vice President, International in January 2014. In July 2015, he was promoted to Chief Marketing, Portfolio and Business Development Officer assuming global marketing responsibility for the Company’s Invisalign product portfolio initially, including product management and commercialization of product roadmap and then adding the iTero product portfolio a year later in 2016. Prior to joining Align Technology, Mr. Pascaud spent 14 years in various management positions within DePuy International, (Johnson & Johnson family of companies), including Vice President Orthopedics of EMEA and Vice President Marketing of International. Mr. Pascaud has extensive experience in multinational organizational management, international sales strategy, and global professional and consumer marketing within the medical device sector. Mr. Pascaud holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and received his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glamorgan, Cardiff, Wales.
Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Americas
Christopher C. Puco is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Americas responsible for the go-to-market strategy and operational execution of all Align Technology products and services for the Americas region. He joined the company in 2006 originally as Sales Director for the Eastern sales area. He was then promoted to Vice President of Sales Strategy, where he led the go to market strategy of the North American iTero scanner and services sales organization. He was promoted to Vice President, North America Sales in 2012 and has increasingly expanded his regional responsibilities to most recently include Latin America. Mr. Puco has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, holding sales management positions in both starts-ups and established corporate environments. Prior to joining Align Technology, Mr. Puco was with U.S. Surgical Corporation, Baxtor BioSurgery and Fusion Medical Technologies.
Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Global Research & Development
Zelko Relic is Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President, Global Research & Development responsible for research and development programs worldwide, including delivering new and enhanced products for the Invisalign clear aligner and iTero scanner businesses as well as overseeing security and compliance across our IT systems and R&D platforms. As CTO, he is focused on the Company’s future innovation path, delivering technical excellence while leveraging the Company’s core technology strengths and continuously exploring new technologies. Mr. Relic has spent his career in the healthcare, semiconductor and automation industries, where he built a track record for developing advanced technologies and solutions across global organizations. He joined the company in 2013 originally as Vice President, Research & Development. Prior to joining Align Technology, Mr. Relic was Vice President, Engineering for Datalogic Automation, a global leader in automatic data capture and industrial automation markets. Prior to Datalogic, Mr. Relic was Vice President, Engineering at Danaher Corporation, Accu-Sort Systems business where he managed R&D and product development for smart cameras and laser scanners for Automatic Identification systems. He was also Vice President at Siemens Medical Solutions USA overseeing radiology, cardiology and CAD R&D and product development, and held senior management positions in engineering at Kulicke&Soffa Industries and KLA-Tencor, designers and manufacturers of semiconductor products.
Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific
Julie Tay is Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific responsible for Align Technology’s market development and operational execution of all Align Technology products and services in the Asia Pacific region. She joined the company in March 2013 originally as Vice President and Managing Director, Asia Pacific. Ms. Tay has more than 20 years’ experience in international management of various segments including consumer healthcare, medical devices and chemical businesses across Asia. Prior to joining Align Technology, Ms. Tay was regional head of Bayer Healthcare (Diabetes Care) overseeing operations across Asia where she grew the business into a sustainable and profitable operation in three years. Prior to Bayer, Ms. Tay spent 15 years with Johnson & Johnson Medical where she was instrumental in establishing the LifeScan franchise within Asia. Ms. Tay holds an M.B.A. from Curtin University of Technology (Australia) and a B.A. degree from the National University of Singapore.
Senior Vice President, Global Operations
Emory M. Wright is Senior Vice President, Global Operations responsible for Align Technology’s global manufacturing and operation activities. He joined the company in 2000, and since then has served in several roles within operations. Mr. Wright was instrumental in building Align Technology's world-class manufacturing operations and was promoted to Vice President, Operations in December 2007. Prior to joining Align Technology, Mr. Wright spent more than 8 years in research, product development and operations positions at various medical device and biotechnology companies in the Silicon Valley. During that time, he led worldwide manufacturing, engineering, planning, materials/procurement and distribution/logistics organizations. Mr. Wright holds an M.B.A. from Santa Clara University and a B.S. degree in Biology from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
