The Invisalign system and iTero Intraoral scanning system and OrthoCAD® digital services are available to general practitioner dentists (GP dentists), orthodontists, and other dental specialists. Align Technology provides training, clinical education programs, and the tools needed for orthodontists or GP dentists to adopt its innovative technology and offer the treatment options in their practices.

Susan (Sue) E. Siegel was elected as a director of Align in May 2017.  In November 2017, Ms. Siegel was appointed Chief Innovation Officer at General Electric and CEO of GE Business Innovations, GE’s venture arm, business growth and innovation business.  Since 2012, Ms. Siegel had been CEO of GE Ventures, which has now subsumed into her new role. Ms. Siegel has 30+ years of experience within corporate companies and venture capital firms. Prior to GE Ventures, Ms. Siegel was a General Partner at Mohr Davidow Ventures, where she led investments in precision medicine, digital health, and life sciences. Before venture capital, she served as president and board member at Affymetrix and drove the company’s transformation from a pre-revenue start up to a global, multi-billion dollar market cap genomics leader. Prior to Affymetrix, Ms. Siegel led strategy, technology development, licensing, manufacturing, as well as new market creation & development at Bio-Rad, DuPont, and Amersham.  Ms. Siegel holds a M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University Medical School and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico. She currently serves on the boards of MIT’s The Engine, RAND Health, Harvard Partners’ Innovation Advisory Board, Brigham and Women’s Hospital Scientific Advisory Board, Stanford Medicine’s Board of Leaders, University of California’s Innovation Council, and USC Marshall School of Business Board of Leaders. She is an Aspen Institute Crown Fellow.
