H. Kent Bowen

Director H. Kent Bowen has served as a director since May 2000. Dr. Bowen is the Bruce Rauner Professor of Business Administration at Harvard University's Graduate School of Business where his research and teaching is in the field of operations and technology management. Prior to joining Harvard in 1992, he was an engineering professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1970 to 1992) where he was Ford Professor of Engineering and co-founder of the Leaders for Manufacturing Program. He serves as a director of Ceramics Process Systems, a developer of thermal solution products, in addition to advising several startup companies. He received his Ph.D from M.I.T. and his B.S. from the University of Utah.

David E. Collins

Director David E. Collins has served as director since March 2003. Mr. Collins has over three decades of experience at the world's leading medical device and technology companies and has served on a number of public and private company boards. His most recent operational role was with Kenilworth, NJ-based Schering-Plough Corporation from 1989 to 1994, as President of a new consumer products division known as HealthCare Products. He also served as a member of the Schering-Plough Operations Committee, that company's senior executive management group. Prior to Schering-Plough, Mr. Collins helped found New York-based venture capital firm Galen Partners. Mr. Collins also spent 27 years with Johnson & Johnson in a number of legal and operational roles. He served as Corporate Secretary and General Counsel, President of McNeill Laboratories and other Latin American subsidiaries, and had leadership and oversight of the worldwide consumer products business, corporate public relations, investor relations, strategic planning and the government legislative liaison office. He left Johnson & Johnson in 1988 as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Joseph Lacob

Director Joseph Lacob has served as a director since August 1997 and has been a Partner of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, a venture capital firm, since May 1987. Prior to that, Mr. Lacob was an executive with Cetus Corporation (now Chiron), FHP International, a health maintenance organization (HMO), and the management consulting firm of Booz, Allen & Hamilton. Since joining KPCB in 1987, he has led KPCB's investments in over forty life science companies, including the start-up or incubation of a dozen ventures, and leads KPCB's medical technology practice, which includes over thirty therapeutic and diagnostic medical device companies. Mr. Lacob is also active in KPCB's new media and Internet company initiatives. He led the firm's investment in SportsLine.com, the leading sports website. His recent Internet investments include a focus on small business and financial services, including eHealthInsurance.com, a leading on-line provider of health insurance to individuals and small businesses.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sportsline.com and Corixa, as well as several other privately held companies. Mr. Lacob received his Bachelor's in Biochemistry from the University of California at Irvine, his Master's in Public Health from UCLA and his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

C. Raymond Larkin, Jr.

Chairman of the Board Elected 2004 C. Raymond Larkin, Jr., has served as a director of Align since March 2004. He currently serves as a principal of Group Outcome L.L.C., a merchant banking firm concentrating on medical technologies. Prior to that, Mr. Larkin was President and Chief Executive Officer of Nellcor Puritan Bennett, Inc., one of the world's preeminent respiratory products companies. Under Mr. Larkin's leadership over 15 years, Nellcor grew to nearly $1 billion in revenues through the development and introduction of pulse oximetry into worldwide use for patient safety monitoring, setting the standard of care for the respiratory-impaired patient. Mr. Larkin also held positions of increasing responsibility at Bentley Laboratories/American Hospital Supply from 1976 to 1983. He serves on the boards of DaVita, Inc., Hanger Orthopedic Group, Inc., and Cerus Corporation. Mr. Larkin received his Bachelor of Sciences degree in industrial management from LaSalle University.

George J. Morrow

Director George J. Morrow has served as a director of Align since February 2006. He is currently the Executive Vice President, Global Commercial Operations at Amgen Inc., a global biotechnology company, where he also served as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing between 2001 and 2003. From 1992 to 2001, Mr. Morrow held multiple leadership positions at GlaxoSmithKline Inc. and its subsidiaries, including President and Chief Executive Officer of Glaxo Wellcome Inc. Mr. Morrow holds a B.S. in chemistry from Southampton College, Long Island University, an M.S. in Biochemistry from Bryn Mawr College and an M.B.A. from Duke University.

Thomas M. Prescott

Director, President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Prescott has served as President and CEO of Align Technology since March 2002. Previously, he was President and CEO of Cardiac Pathways, Inc., where he brought focus to the organization, launched new products and substantially grew the revenue run rate over a 24-month period. Prior to Cardiac Pathways, Mr. Prescott held various sales, general management and executive roles at Nellcor Puritan Bennett, Inc., and various management positions at GE Medical Systems. In addition, Mr. Prescott served in sales, marketing and management roles at Siemens. He earned his masters degree from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University in 1992 and his bachelors degree, with emphasis in Civil Engineering, from Arizona State University.

Greg J. Santora

Director Elected 2003 Greg J. Santora was appointed to the Board of Directors of Align in July 2003. Mr. Santora served as the Chief Financial Office for Shopping.com, where he oversaw corporate finance, administration, and human resources from 2003 through 2005. From 1997 through 2002, Mr. Santora was the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President for Intuit Inc., responsible for the finance, treasury and investor relations functions of the business. Prior to Intuit, he spent 13 years at Apple Computer in various senior financial positions including Senior Finance Director of Apple Americas and Senior Director of Internal Consulting and Audit. Mr. Santora began his accounting career with Arthur Andersen LLP and has been a CPA since 1974. He serves on the boards of Digital Insight Corporation and LookSmart Ltd. He holds a B.A. in accounting from the University of Illinois and an MBA from San Jose University. Mr. Santora also serves as the Chairman of Align's Audit Committee.

Warren S. Thaler

Director Warren S. Thaler has served as a director of Align since June 2004. Mr. Thaler is the President of Gund Investment Corporation. He directs real estate and venture capital investments, and assists with the management of the companies wholly owned by Gordon Gund. Prior to joining Gund Investment in 1990, Mr. Thaler worked in the corporate finance department of Drexel Burnham Lambert where he structured and marketed debt and equity securities for corporate issuers. Mr. Thaler serves on the board of directors of Cavaliers/Gund Arena Company and represents the Cleveland Cavaliers as its Alternate Governor at meetings of the National Basketball Association's Board of Governors. He also serves on the boards of Ophthonix, Inc. and Valley Forge Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Thaler received his B.A. from Princeton University and his M.B.A. from Harvard University.
